Ostrich meat is a very tender red meat. It is an excellent "sustainable" alternative to other red meats such as beef and lamb.
- Healthy: a lean meat, ostrich has a fat content that is 5 to 10 times less than beef.
- Sustainable: living naturally in arid pastures, ostriches require a limited amount of water ; greenhouse gas emissions also remain well below those of other red meats like beef.

Together we select the muscles that will be processed for you at the Klein Karoo factory in Oudtshoorn. The factory is of course EU approved (ZA92), and has the most skillful and experienced staff producing premium value-added ostrich meat products.
